How much do your services cost?

Websites for Journalists, Academics, Editors, Writing Coaches, Translators, Poets, Children’s Books

We design websites for a variety of publishing-related disciplines and services.

Our web design prices start at £800 for a fairly simple website. But we really need to know a few details about your project before we can give a more accurate estimate.

Please email yvm@obbxjrof.pb.hx outlining your needs or call 07550 017717 for a chat. If you get the answerphone, leave a message and we will get back to you to arrange a mutually convenient time for a call.

Your yearly on-going costs

Hosting & Support
All our author websites include software updates, technical support, and advice for the first year.

From year two, hosting and support renewals start at £150 per year, depending on your website’s size and complexity.

Domain Name Renewal
Your domain name must be renewed annually, typically costing £20–£30 per year.

Website Updates
You may wish to add new books, reviews, blog posts, news, or event information from time to time.

Most authors use our content update service, for which we recommend allowing a budget of around £60 per year, depending on the amount of work required.

Alternatively, you can choose a self-editable website (an extra design charge of £95) and manage updates yourself if you are comfortable doing so. We do not recommned self-editable websites for those with limited technical skills.
